Enjoying my birthday coffee from Starbucks and blogging on my iPad.

Yesterday was a really exciting day. Not only did I turn 50 but I got to celebrate with ALL of my siblings and many special people in my life. AND I was surprised!

Everyone did a great job keeping the secret. I don't have pics on this yet so I'll post them later.

Curled up on the couch today, I can see out the window that it is a beautiful day - yet my head is in massive revolt and constant pain. It is not conducive to doing much, especially if it takes brain power.

Well, going to try moving around see what that does.

So, here we are, the family..... Picture taken last weekend at our niece, Lorin's wedding. Don't my guys clean up nice? And wasn't it a good thing there was a step for me to stand on, so you can't see how they all tower over me? Lorin's wedding was beautiful. We had a bit of rain fall on us before the ceremony, but just as Lorin and her dad came around the corner, the sun shone and the ceremony was gorgeous!

So, I am going to try and do little more with this blog, maybe blog from my iPhone at times. Happy Sunday everyone!

Well, not a very good answer to this week's challenge by Emilie at http://nancycomelab.com/blog/ but I had fun anyway! All credits go to Nancy, I bought her things at The Lily Pad. It's been fun going to the Pike Street Market a couple of times this year. On this trip they were celebrating the 100 year anniversary!! Various 'pigs' were up around town commerating the event, they were made in honor of Rachel, the Market's life-size bronze piggy bank.

Saw a similar background idea in a scrapbook magazine - so decided to play around with the idea.

Journaling: I love this black and white picture of Alex taken when he was about two by his cousin Kris. It, along with a similar one of Owen, hung in her house in Bellingham, and were given to me after she died.

We had smoke roll in yesterday from fires in the area - made for interesting skies!
